CDE is committed to advancing the university’s commitment to creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive educational environment that values integrity and a culture of shared responsibility. They are particularly concerned with having the most difficult conversations, hearing the voices least heard, and sustaining an accessible, inclusive environment that empowers all members of the campus community to achieve their highest potential. They accomplish this through the development of policies and initiatives that promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations that assure equal access and equal opportunity for all university members.
